The Toxic Clouds of 9/11

3,000 people died when the World Trade Centre towers fell on September 11, 2001. Images of New Yorkers covered in dust and fleeing the falling buildings circulated the world. In the weeks that followed, many coughed up blood, reporting shortness of breath and calling in sick from work, no longer able to walk up and down stairs or down the block.

In this documentary, we hear from those who have suffered in the long term from inhaling the dust that clouded the city in the aftermath of 9/11. In the process, we consider the long, far reaching arm of acts of terrorism through the bodies of those most affected.
